Representative of Aon eSolutions' commitment to market leadership, these products under development have been prioritized and shaped with substantial input from clients, including the Aon eSolutions Client Advisory Board (read more on page 26), as well as feedback from prospects analysis of market needs. What's more, each of these upcoming products is substantive, conceived and designed to go beyond mere flash and sizzle and deliver answers to real needs as well as demonstrated value to clients adopting these innovative solutions. lookingAhead: Feature 3 enhancedBusiness intelligence The improved Business Intelligence functionality in RiskConsole will enhance the depth, accessibility and value of the existing reporting functions in the current Business Intelligence module. Whether accessed online or from a workstation, the enhanced Business Intelligence dashboard is more interactive and self- sufficient and offers more capabilities for the end user to conduct business. And in a significant development, users can download reports locally to their computers and then work on the information without being fully connected to the system. Better still, users will be able to drill down into the information even when it's locally accessed. And finally, in contrast to the business intelligence capabilities in other systems, the RiskConsole Business Intelligence capability is completely integrated, which guarantees top performance and security. Mobiledevice Access According to technology research firm Gartner, by 2013, mobile phones will overtake PCs as the most common device for accessing the web worldwide, with 1.82 billion smartphones and browser-equipped phones in use, as opposed to 1.78 billion PCs. Aon eSolutions is developing access for our RiskConsole RMIS, optimized for mobile devices, including iPhone, iPad and Android. Users will be able search and find information about claims, policies, properties and exposures. Access to reporting dashboards and Business Intelligence is also in the works, as is the ability to update and edit information in RiskConsole as well as submit claims and incidents. The Client Advisory Board has been instrumental in developing Mobile Device Access. OptimizedWorkflow anduserinterface This forthcoming enhancement is one of the key initiatives suggested by the Client Advisory Board in terms of how a RMIS can improve day-to- day management practices. Clients wanted to see a larger amount of information on the screen at one time. They also asked for "tool tips" to provide instructions or guidance to users next to critical fields. This comprehensive improvement will allow for better usability and improved workflow and data entry in RiskConsole. The record screen and user interface will easier to navigate, with highlighted key features and a full view of hierarchies. The screen has been enhanced, revamped and rebuilt, allowing for work to be done that couldn't be done before, such as editing data in a grid. products and services feature
