In this hands-on session, we'll explore how you can use Cognos Workspace Advanced for trend analysis, prior value reporting and value comparison. This session is for intermediate to advanced users of Cognos Workspace Advanced. Managing Your Renewal Collection in RiskConsole: Getting the Best Terms for Your Insurance Program Managing the renewals process using spreadsheets is a lengthy and inefficient process. Come and learn how the RiskConsole renewal solution can streamline your renewal process and cut the time needed to complete the process by up to 75 percent—with better-quality data and more time for you to get the best renewal deal for your organization. See how the solution takes the administrative burden out of the process and allows you to get back to being a risk manager plus being compliant with the UK Insurance Act. Optimizing Your Paperless Operation in iVOS Going paperless is the first step to capturing all documentation in one centralized place for a claim. This session will show you how iVOS can optimize how a document moves from one business user to another, thus optimizing workflow. This session will show you how you can print, copy, send, write, scan and email from within iVOS. In addition, this session will show you how packages can be created for a claim rather than printing one document at a time for a claim. Advanced Automation Ventiv will walk through many of the automated tools available to claims users to initiate claims, assign diaries, generate correspondence and emails, default values, set reserves, balance reserves and also review all of the standard interfaces available to our client base to allow for Document Image import, Claim import, Payment and Reserves, Notepads, etc. There will also be a demonstration of the Capture data-intake solution integrated into iVOS as part of this session. DAY 3: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26 10:50am–12:00pm Breakout 7 Ventiv University*: Visualizing Your iVOS Data Using Dashboards–repeat from breakout 2 Ad Hoc Reporting & Dashboards is the newest component of iVOS Claims Intelligence. Using the Dashboard Designer, users can easily create compelling dashboards to visualize different aspects of their iVOS data. In this hands-on session, you'll learn how to use the Dashboard Designer to create dashboards from Ad Hoc Views, Reports and Static Reports. This session is intended for intermediate to advanced iVOS users. Auto Reserving and Standard Payment Imports Using Business Rules, ODG Interface, Reserve Workbooks and Dashboards to automate and improve reserving practices. We will also review the multiple standard options we provide to load payments into the system. Going Beyond 5 By 5 Risk Assessments in RiskConsole: Making Relevant Risk Assessments for the Board and Key Business Stakeholders This session will look at how to enhance your risk assessment approach to become more strategic and engage the board and key stakeholders. Risk managers, chief risk officers and interested stakeholders will discuss how to evolve from the traditional likelihood-and-impact methods of risk assessment into better alternatives for highlighting risks to the board. The session will also cover how technology can be used to support your ERM processes and how to best present and communicate the risks to key audiences.
